A passel of guests is trapped in the fabulous but               haunted Castle Gaye in the California mountains,               where an ancient curse promises that Jackie               Holmes will die before he finishes this case.               Jackie attempts to retire from C.A.M.P. and               settle down with a new lover, the elegant and               enormously wealthy Baron Max van der Gout,               but a string of accidents and a weeping ghost give               every indication that the curse is working.
